WORK WITH MONSTRATO
The BUILD Framework
Begin with the person. Understand the work. Establish a direction your organization can sustain. BUILD guides both strategy and separately scoped implementation.

From purpose
to lasting capability.
BUILD guides both phases. The timing below illustrates an approximately eight-week strategy phase; stages overlap and depend on agreed scope and client readiness. Implementation has its own scope and schedule. A complete technical build is not promised within the strategy phase.
B
Weeks 1–2
Begin with the Person
Define the operational outcomes, priority business questions, affected people, sponsor, and evidence of success.
U
Weeks 2–3
Understand the System
Map relevant sources, workflows, ownership, business definitions, quality, and access. Identify constraints and reconciliation needs.
I
Weeks 3–4
Identify the Good
Identify and prioritize useful data, analytics, and automation use cases against operational value, feasibility, and human consequences.
L
Weeks 5–6
Lay Out the Future
Establish the strategy, implementation sequence, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria. In a contracted implementation phase, guide agreed setup with the client’s technical staff.
D
Weeks 7–8
Deliver Stewardship
Hand over a strategy and roadmap with accountable owners. Where implementation is contracted, validate reporting against agreed definitions and transfer implementation records, reconciliation evidence, and maintenance guidance.
PRACTICAL READING
A better question.
A useful next step.
Before choosing a new data tool
Begin with the work you need to improve. Which decision is difficult today? What information would make it easier, and who needs to trust it? A new tool can move data without resolving conflicting definitions, unclear ownership, or a workflow nobody maintains.
Ask the people who produce and use the information how they work now. Establish a shared definition of success, identify the relevant sources, and name an owner for the result. Then compare useful applications against feasibility and the client’s ability to sustain them. The first deliverable may be a strategy and a prioritized use case; implementation follows when the necessary conditions are understood.
What are you building?
Describe the decision in front of you, the people it affects, and what you hope to make possible. We will clarify fit, scope, and a feasible next step.
