The Human Impact Test

A structured lens used within discovery, prioritization, workshops, and governance: purpose, relevance, participation, dignity, agency, and stewardship.

A strategy engagement can begin directly. A standalone review requires a defined decision and sufficient evidence. The decision record names the intended good, affected people, evidence, uncertainties, and options, then recommends an action with an owner, conditions, and a review date. Possible recommendations include stopping, holding for evidence, redesigning, a bounded pilot, or wider adoption supported by evidence. This is a tool for judgment, not certification; the client retains responsibility for its decisions.

Start with a
real question.

“We need AI.”

What human problem would it solve?

“We need better data.”

Which decisions should the data improve?

“We should automate this.”

Are we removing drudgery—or the work that develops judgment?

What are you building?

Describe the decision in front of you, the people it affects, and what you hope to make possible. We will clarify fit, scope, and a feasible next step.
